Some old that I had not shared with you before.
Mr. Block takes one of our favorite Brits, Top Gear presenter James May, for a spin around an airfield.
Ken Block’s newest mind-crushing bit of driving comes in a 650bph Ford Fiesta that can do 60 in 1.9 seconds. Mr. Block also decided to spice things up a bit by drifting on a 51 degree banked oval in France. Wow.
I am an admitted car lover. That being said, here is Ken Block doing some pretty amazing stuff in a Subaru. Just in case you hadn’t seen it.
If only all cars were packed with this much style and history. This is a 1927 Mercedes-Benz S Boattail Speedster once owned by Zeppo Marx of the infamous Marx Brothers. If that’s not cool enough for you let me lay a bit o’ history on you. This car was the focal point of a crazy bet back in the heyday of Old Hollywood. Zeppo wagered in 1932 that his Boattail could beat agent Phil Berg’s Dusenberg hands-down in an all-out race. To the winner went a whopping $10,000. That bet today would be equal to laying down $155,500! In the end, Zeppo and his Benz lost the race but dang, that car is cool.
